Australia Wide

Broken Hearted in the Barossa

Wining and whining in Australia’s premiere vineyards

The land where the rivers run

Griffith in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area has more to offer than stories of the good old days of Italian drug barons. It’s a dynamic and beautiful wine and orchard region.

It’s a Flinders’ fling

The mobile phone reception stops around Laura, about 200 kilometers north of Adelaide on the road to the Flinders Ranges. The ATM’s get scarcer. St Mary’s Peak at Wilpena Pound is called Ngarri Medlanha in the Adnyamathanha tongue. It means the mind waits. The Aboriginal peoples of the area wouldn’t climb it because as the mind pauses, it loses the capacity to think straight.
